We are looking for an outgoing, motivated, and people-focused Community Relations Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in community outreach, nonprofit marketing, public relations, communications, and customer engagement.
You’ll help connect organizations with local communities, support outreach campaigns and events, and build positive relationships with community members and partners.
No extensive experience is required — training and professional development are provided.
Responsibilities
- Support community outreach programs, campaigns, and events
- Engage with community members and build positive relationships
- Represent organizations at local events and public engagements
- Connect with local businesses, nonprofits, community groups, and residents
- Share information about charitable programs, services, and community initiatives
- Assist with promotional materials, marketing, and communications
- Gather customer and community feedback
- Support public relations and brand awareness initiatives
- Work with team members to achieve outreach and campaign goals
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new people
- Positive and professional attitude
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Organized and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, public relations, fundraising, retail, hospitality, or community outreach is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
