Sunny Pediatric Services is a growing pediatric therapy practice that offers speech therapy, feeding therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy as well as lactation counseling to young ones in Tallahassee and surrounding areas. The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships within the community to support practice growth, increase awareness of services, and strengthen referral partnerships. This role focuses on outreach, networking, marketing support, and ongoing communication with referral sources and community organizations. The coordinator serves as a professional representative of the practice and helps create positive connections throughout the community. 

Responsibilities:
  • Visit local doctors’ offices, pediatricians, dentists, chiropractors, homeschool co-ops, churches, community centers, daycare centers, and other referral sources to introduce services and provide marketing materials.
  • Research and identify new referral sources and community partnership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with providers, office staff, and community contacts.
  • Follow up with referral sources after visits to maintain communication and strengthen partnerships.
  • Coordinate and schedule networking meetings, lunches, presentations, or tours for the owner and outreach team to attend.
  • Assist with planning referral source appreciation efforts, including holiday gifts, thank-you items, and promotional materials.
  • Recommend and help organize marketing materials, flyers, brochures, and community outreach items.
  • Create and schedule social media posts to promote services, events, community involvement, and practice updates.
  • Track outreach efforts, referral contacts, and follow-up communication.
  • Represent the practice professionally within the community and at networking events.
  • Help increase community awareness of the practice’s services and programs.

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
  • Comfortable networking and building professional relationships.
  • Organized and able to manage tasks and follow-up independently.
  • Experience with social media platforms and basic marketing preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally for outreach visits and meetings.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of the local community and healthcare providers.
  • Experience creating social media content or promotional materials.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to professionally explain practice services and programs.

Work Environment:
  • Combination of in-office work and local community outreach.
  • Flexible schedule based on outreach opportunities and networking events.
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for approved travel and community visits.

Compensation:
  • Starting pay is $16.00 per hour.
  • Mileage reimbursement provided for approved community outreach travel and networking visits.
