Location:Palmdale, CA
Position Type: Contract
Compensation
Pay Range:$25.00-$27.40 Per HR
Description
This role involves supporting a community resource center in Palmdale, CA, on a contract basis.
The position is onsite and requires interaction with diverse populations, providing assistance and connecting them to necessary resources.
Proficiency in office software and strong communication skills are essential.
Requirements
Minimum six months of experience in healthcare, public health, or health education
Experience in community outreach or social services
Front-desk or operational support experience
Experience in community events or project coordination
Strong customer service and communication skills
Data-entry and reporting experience
Proficiency in office software
Qualifications
Comfortable multitasking in a busy, public-facing environment
Associate degree or equivalent education/experience
Bilingual, especially in Spanish (preferred)
Experience with health plans or similar programs (preferred)
Knowledge of local community resources (preferred)
Experience working with children or in child-development activities (preferred)
