ABOUT THE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER Neighborhood House’s Community Resource Centers support individuals and families as they address immediate needs and pursue greater social and economic well-being. The Centers provide welcoming, culturally responsive spaces where participants can access crisis support, connect with community resources, and receive individualized assistance with both short-term needs and longer-term goals. Community Resource Navigators partner with participants to identify priorities, develop strategies, coordinate referrals, and support progress toward greater stability. The Community Resource Navigation team works closely with programs across Neighborhood House and with external partners to help participants access a broad range of services and opportunities. POSITION SUMMARY The Community Resource Navigator partners with individuals and families to identify strengths, needs, barriers, and goals; develop individualized strategies; and connect participants with resources that support immediate needs and longer-term stability. The position provides culturally responsive coaching, case management, crisis support, safety planning, referrals, and coordination with Neighborhood House programs and community partners. The Community Resource Navigator also supports the daily operation of the Community Resource Center, assists participants in accessing center resources, coordinates family activities, maintains accurate participant records, and contributes to program evaluation and reporting. WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE This in-person role is based in St. Paul, MN. It operates primarily at the Neighborhood House at the Wellstone Center, with some work at the Neighborhood House on Montreal location and/or off-site meetings and events. Local travel between locations and dependable transportation are required (mileage reimbursement available). Your work schedule will be determined by your supervisor and may be subject to change. It usually includes Monday through Friday during business hours, with occasional evenings and weekends.
