The Community Response Clinician is a dual role and partners with law enforcement and first responders to provide crisis co-response, follow-up, and care coordination for individuals with behavioral health and substance use needs. The clinician also leads the development of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training for first responders, equipping them to recognize, de-escalate, and connect individuals in crisis to appropriate care. This position will also provide clinical services in the Ambulatory Services Department and is responsible for the provision of direct services through individual, group and family counseling to people affected by addiction and/or mental illness.
