Job Summary
We are looking for COMPANIONS - No License Needed - for IMMEDIATE job openings in Toms River, NJ (Ocean County) and Warren County, NJ (Monmouth County). Certified Home Health AidesandCertified Nursing Assistantsare also welcome to join our team. You will work directly with patients, following a one-on-one care plan. You operate with a big heart while providing personalized and attentivecare and building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are compassionate, reliable, able to work independently, and committed to creating a healthy and safe environment that meets patient needs. These are PART TIME, PER DIEM JOBS. WE DO NOT HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT.
Strong verbal and social skills are needed to succeed in this role. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are dependable and trust worthy. We operate throughout New Jersey; however, at present we are only looking for Companions who live in one of the following counties:
Warren County
Ocean County
Camden County
Atlantic County
Burlington County
Somerset County
Mercer County
Ocean

Responsibilities
- Build relationships with patients by chatting with them to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Engage patients [without physical contact] in exercises or other fun activities (for example, playing cards, board games, watching TV, reading to them, writing letters for them.)
- Report observations to supervisor
Qualifications
- Elementary/High School Education
One year prior professional experience
