Home Helpers of Allendale is looking for a warm, dependable Companion Caregiver to support a client in West Milford, NJ. This is a wonderful part-time opportunity with a consistent, predictable schedule — perfect for someone who loves building a real connection with the person in their care.
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, daytime hours (approximately 5–6 hours per day)
What you'll do:
• Provide genuine companionship and social engagement
• Prepare and assist with meals
• Offer friendly daily reminders for medications, routines, and appointments
• Help with light housekeeping to keep the home comfortable
• Accompany the client on local errands and outings as needed
What we're looking for:
• A patient, caring, and dependable individual
• Valid NJ driver's license and personal vehicle (required)
• Someone who enjoys conversation and building meaningful relationships
• Ability to pass a background check
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus but not required
What we offer:
