POSITION: Compassion Food Pantry Coordinator

STARTING DATE: As Soon As Possible

SALARY: $35,000 - $39,000 per year, based on experience and education

WORK YEAR: Full Time - 260 days

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Oversee the daily operations of the Compassion Food Pantry. Ensure high quality standards are being met related to food, inventory, staff, volunteers, and customer service. Grow and maintain community partnerships to further the operations of the Compassion Food Pantry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

? High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor degree in social service or

similar degree preferred.

? A minimum of two years work experience and familiarity with agencies serving at-

risk populations; and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with local social

service agencies and school districts.

? Knowledge of agencies, community resources, public schools, preschools, and early

childhood programs.

? Willingness/ability to work as a team member and independently.

? Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the food pantry.

? Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.

? Computer expertise appropriate to the position.

? History of good job attendance.

? Good communication skills; verbal and written.

? Valid Ohio driver''s license with good driving record; daily access to private insured

vehicle during work hours.

? Willingness to drive food pickup/delivery truck.

? Must pass criminal background checks, and be free from communicable disease.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board.The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

EVALUATION:

Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board''s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
