Caregivers are the backbone of our organization providing much needed services to our clients
We are seeking a compassionate caregiver who is dedicated to assisting adults with personal care , maintaining their independence with dignity, and enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging clients in fun activities and possess strong problem-solving skills to address various needs.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
- Plan and engage in enjoyable activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation; provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and nutrition, light housekeeping, medication reminders, driving clients to activities and appointments
- Monitor and report changes in clients health and well-being and collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications
- Must be compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Negative TB or X-ray screening
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is required
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
