Location: Orlando, Florida 32837 Pay Range: $16 - $20 per hour We are hiring a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to join our team in Orlando, FL. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care to senior veterans in need. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming and dressing.
Assist with medication reminders as directed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and management to ensure optimal care.
Monitor and document clients' health and behavior changes, reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
CNA license of HHA certification preferred.
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in dementia caregiving required.
Current CPR certification is required.
Level 2 background screening, eligible status with AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration) is mandatory.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
