Position Summary:
Primary resource for all Compensation requests. Assists with salary requests, market analysis, job descriptions and maintains Lawson data up to date such as Team Member's pay, years of experience and job codes.
Ensure appropriate implementation of all compensation programs.
Support Leadership in determining fair and equitable pay for external job offers and internal promotions.
Ensure compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Participate in compensation surveys, perform survey job matching, and conduct ad-hoc benchmarking and market research as needed
Provide ongoing data maintenance and technical support to Compensation Systems
Analyze data and derive conclusions and make recommendations or explanations as necessary.
Partner with cross functional teams on special projects such as designing and implementing new compensation programs, process improvements, compensation assessments and automation of new solutions
Interpret local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices
Work with leadership to create and maintain job descriptions within the organization
Position Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business with a minimum of four years of experience and two years of compensation experience
Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle superior level of confidentiality concerning employee information.
Ability to work in a consultative manner as a team member in a collaborative environment.
This position requires a high level of proficiency in business computing software, HRIS systems and reporting writing tools, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) designation or progress towards a CCP is a plus.
