The Compensation Program Manager will lead compensation projects and programs to ensure Tesla can attract and retain the talent needed to achieve our mission. Our team achieves results by being innovative, driven, collaborative, and trustworthy. This role will manage projects and programs from infancy to rollout coordinating and managing stakeholders along the way.
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that support organizational goals and enhance employee engagement
- Lead and manage new compensation programs from design to execution
- Collaborate with HR partners, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless execution of compensation programs
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of existing compensation programs and recommend adjustments as needed
- Partner with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) teams to ensure accurate and efficient management of compensation data
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and changes in legislation related to compensation to ensure compliance
- Manage a team of on-site compensation resources who directly support employees
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in compensation
- Proven experience as a Compensation Program Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of compensation principles and strategies
- Solid knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed compensation decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems

Expected Compensation
$76,000 - $270,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
