We are looking to hire a Compensation Analyst in the city of Pico Rivera, CA. . This is a Contract to Hire opportunityto join an HR Team!
Title: Compensation Analyst
Location: On-site Pico Rivera
Report to: Sr. HRIS & Compensation Manager
Pay: $34 - $38 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Analyze compensation data across multiple locations, including manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate functions
Provide monthly reporting on Sales Subsidy to Commission Gap information to the Leadership Team
Develop and maintain pay structures, including hourly, salaried, and incentive-based compensation programs
Support compensation strategies for high-volume, hourly workforces, including shift differentials, overtime practices, and premium pay programs
Partner with HR and operations leaders on hiring rates, promotions, and internal equity adjustments across different regions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including minimum wage variations, overtime rules, and pay transparency requirements
Monitor and support pay equity initiatives across multiple states and job categories
Assist with union-related compensation structures or collective bargaining agreements (if applicable)
Support annual compensation cycles (merit increases, bonuses, and incentive payouts) across diverse employee populations
Maintain and audit compensation data within HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
Prepare reports and dashboards on compensation trends, labor costs, and workforce analytics
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
2-3 years of compensation or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments
Strong understanding of multi-state wage and hour laws and compliance requirement
Experienced in supporting hourly, salary, commission, and component pay structure
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, ADP, SAP
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification
Experience with union environments and collective bargaining agreement
