Competitor Pulverizer Parts Team Leader

This position supports the execution and growth of the competitor Pulverizer parts business by combining technical expertise, team leadership, proposal development, and project coordination responsibilities. The role acts as a subject matter expert for competitor Pulverizer equipment, supporting reverse engineering, scope development, and solution definition for aftermarket opportunities. The position functions as a working team leader with direct supervisory responsibility, guiding a small team while remaining actively involved in daily operations including quoting, technical support, and project execution.

DUTIES

• Develops and supports detailed proposals for competitor Pulverizer parts, including scope definition, cost estimation, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Serves as technical subject matter expert for competitor Pulverizer equipment, supporting reverse engineering, product improvements, and intellectual property ownership.
• Leads day-to-day competitor parts activities, prioritizing work and ensuring timely completion of quotes and orders.
• Supervises and supports direct report(s), providing guidance, training, and feedback.
• Manages small to mid-size projects and complex orders.
• Coordinates with engineering, supply chain, and service centers.
• Interfaces with directly customers, suppliers, and sales teams.
• Supports product line development and process improvements.
• Maintains tool maintenance and inspection or material handling equipment records as needed.
• Performs all other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 years of experience in aftermarket parts, including Pulverizers, rotating equipment, or similar
• 6+ years experience developing technical drawings and proposals.
• 4-6 years experience supporting reverse engineering efforts using advanced tools as well as hand measuring instruments.
• 6+ Specialized training or coursework in CAD software, SolidWorks is preferred
• Experience coordinating projects or managing order execution
• Prior team lead or supervisory experience preferred
