Kforce has a client that is seeking a Complex Auto Adjuster in Phoenix, AZ.

Summary:

As a dedicated Senior Auto Claims Adjuster, you will adjust highly complex auto insurance claims presented by or against our members to include the end-to-end claims process and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering best-in-class service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate coverage, liability, and physical damage, including total loss settlements. • Negotiate liability in comparative negligence cases, claimant or adverse carrier. • Identify coverage concerns and initiate Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals when appropriate. • Collect and analyze information from police reports, witness statements, and recorded interviews. • Evaluate and negotiate settlements for first- and third-party physical damage claims. • Resolve claims through proactive problem-solving and decision-making. • Document all aspects of the claims process clearly and thoroughly.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate resolution. • Support members using various communication channels and digital tools. • Apply proficient knowledge of P&C insurance products, contracts, and procedures.

Informal Resource and CAT Response:

• May serve as an informal resource for team members. • Participate in CAT response operations, including potential travel and on-call work.
