The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding physician to join the Complex Care Medical Services team and serve as the Medical Director with a faculty appointment at UT Southwestern and Childrens Health Dallas.

The Complex Care Medical Services is a program created to provide primary care within a medical home for children and youth with complex medical conditions. The Program utilizes an integrated team-based approach to decrease treatment fragmentation and unnecessary utilization of care while aiming to improve quality of life for children and their families.

Clinical expectations include out-patient care in the Complex Care Medical Home and in-patient consultation for the cohort of children in the practice. The successful candidate is expected to actively participate in scholarly activities including teaching residents and medical students rotating through the clinic. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of prior experience treating children with medical complexity. Prior leadership experience is preferred.
