Complex Fitter & Welder

Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Complex Fitter & Welder to join our clients team. This position requires an expert capable of fabricating and welding metal components with precision. The successful candidate will work from blueprints and models to create parts that contribute to the development of innovative playground equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate welding equipment utilizing appropriate methods.
• Prepare and align metal surfaces for welding tasks.
• Perform welding of components in various positions using manual or semi-automatic tools.
• Monitor the quality of welds and prevent defects.
• Inspect joints to ensure they comply with established standards.
• Conduct finishing tasks including grinding and polishing.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications:

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
