Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate claims and determine coverage and liability
- Review evidence, reports, and medical records to evaluate damages and set reserves
- Process indemnity and expense payments
- Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses
- Work with defense counsel and legal teams to manage litigated claims
- Maintain claim documentation and support claim resolution
Qualifications
- JD preferred, or bachelor’s degree with experience adjusting liability claims and litigation
- Active Texas All Lines License, or ability to obtain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple claims
- Experience using claims systems and standard business tools
