A leading defense litigation firm based in Illinois with offices throughout the United States is looking add a Complex Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal group.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
- Work closey and collaborate with other attorneys and Partners.
- Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and draft reports to clients.
Qualifications:
- Must have a JD from an accredited law school
- Must have 2+ years of experience in defense litigation.
- Admitted to practice in California
- Experience with personal injury, General Liability, Catrastrophic Injury, Transportation and other civil Litigation Matters preferred.
- Client Facing experience preferred.
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
