Civil Litigation Paralegal

Location: Oakland, CA | Full-Time

A respected Oakland law firm is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience supporting complex civil litigation defense matters and be skilled in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial.

Responsibilities:

• Manage case files and litigation calendars
• Draft, review, and file legal documents
• Coordinate and track written discovery, document productions, and subpoenas
• Assist with depositions, expert witness coordination, and trial preparation
• Organize exhibits, trial binders, and case materials
• Support attorneys in complex defense litigation matters

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
• Significant experience in complex civil litigation defense
• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and document management
• Extensive trial preparation experience required
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
