Northmarq is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Team within the Loan Servicing Operations Department at its Bloomington, MN office. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and Servicing Agreements, coordinates audits, delivers accurate reporting, and supports the development of compliance-related improvements. Analyzing data to identify trends, inaccuracies, assess risks, and recommend solutions is a key component of this position, which is vital in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory integrity across our servicing portfolio.
Specific Responsibilities
Education and Work Experience
Education:
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Recent or upcoming graduates may apply.
Work Experience: 1-3 years of Operations or Compliance experience preferred, but not required.
Competencies:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Adobe, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with commercial loan terminology preferred, but not required.
Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, and agency guides and evaluate Northmarq procedures to ensure compliance.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; plan, set and adhere to time constraints.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrate premier customer service and communication to Lenders, Borrowers, internal NorthMarq staff, and Auditors.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines.
Maintain a work product that reflects strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong recall and application of prior experience in independent problem resolution.
Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The salary range for the Compliance Analyst position is $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 annually. This range is a good faith estimate and the actual compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience.
