Compliance Analyst

Careerscape is recruiting for a Compliance Analyst for our client, a financial services company in New York, New York. This role supports the monitoring, documentation, and reporting activities required to maintain compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

The Compliance Analyst will work with legal, operations, risk, and business teams to review procedures, track regulatory updates, assist with audits, and help resolve compliance issues. The position is suited for a detail-oriented professional with experience in compliance testing, policy review, and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review internal policies and procedures for alignment with regulatory requirements
• Conduct compliance testing and document findings accurately
• Track regulatory changes and summarize potential business impacts
• Assist with internal audits, external examinations, and remediation plans
• Prepare compliance reports for management and business stakeholders
• Maintain organized records of reviews, approvals, and issue tracking
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance questions and process gaps

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in compliance, risk, audit, or legal operations
• Working knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance frameworks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review complex documentation
• Experience preparing reports, findings, or regulatory summaries
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and compliance tracking tools
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple review requests
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field
