Job Description

Snelling is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our client's distribution team.

This position plays an important role in keeping daily shipping and receiving operations running smoothly. This is a good fit for someone with manufacturing, warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or logistics experience who is comfortable working with both computer systems and warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and accurate customer service regarding shipping and order needs.
• Process shipping confirmations and send customer ASNs through BASE2.
• Receive incoming inventory into JDE.
• Print and distribute kanbans to Material Handlers.
• Schedule Tier II shipments and expedite shipments when necessary.
• Prepare and distribute packing lists and bills of lading.
• Prepare and receive direct shipment orders.
• Monitor backorders and short shipments.
• Process Toyota billing.
• Prepare daily SIA mass-production paperwork and labels.
• Scan and maintain shipping and receiving documentation.
• Print customer shipping labels.
• Participate in cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Review orders entered by Customer Service for accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 or similar software.
• Experience with JDE is required by the client's job description.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple departments.
