Overview of the Compliance Lead Role:

A growing Lancaster County manufacturer is seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to oversee quality-system compliance with a strong focus on IATF 16949. This is a highly visible individual-contributor role for someone who can take ownership of compliance initiatives, audit readiness, customer-specific requirements, and continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in an automotive or highly regulated manufacturing environment and is comfortable partnering with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams.

Position Details

This is a direct-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturer offering a collaborative environment and opportunities for professional development. Travel is minimal, generally less than 5%.

Qualified candidates with strong IATF 16949 and manufacturing quality-system experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities for the Compliance Lead

• Lead and maintain compliance activities related to IATF 16949, ISO 9001, QMS requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
• Coordinate and support internal audits, certification activities, corrective actions, and ongoing audit readiness.
• Manage customer-specific compliance requirements, surveys, documentation, and related customer requests.
• Partner cross-functionally to identify compliance risks, resolve gaps, and strengthen quality-system processes.
• Support CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, KPI-driven improvements, Lean initiatives, and operational excellence projects.
• Develop compliance documentation, reporting, and employee training while communicating key findings and recommendations to leadership.
