Global Customs Compliance ManagerThe hiring company is a reputable organization within the industrial and manufacturing industry, recognized for its commitment to excellence and compliance. It operates as a medium-sized enterprise with a global presence, fostering innovation and a results-driven approach.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement global customs compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to international trade regulations.Manage import and export activities, including classification, valuation, and country of origin determination.Monitor and ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) requirements and other international trade regulations.Collaborate with internal departments, including logistics and supply chain, to streamline processes and ensure regulatory compliance.Lead audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.Provide guidance and training to internal teams on customs compliance matters.Maintain relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.Stay updated on global trade policies and inform the organization of any changes that may impact operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
