Compliance Officer

JOB TITLE: Compliance Officer
LOCATION: Doral, FL 33122 / Tallahassee, FL 32399 – Onsite
DURATION: Approx. 11 Weeks 

Job Summary

The Compliance Officer will review and analyze complaints related to Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes, interpret Florida statutes, communicate with complainants, and process cases according to DBPR guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact complainants to discuss and understand complaints.
• Review and interpret Florida State Statutes to analyze cases.
• Determine DBPR jurisdiction and explain case outcomes.
• Provide appropriate resources or referrals.
• Prepare written correspondence for complainants.
• Close and update cases in Versa.
• Document case activities in OnBase.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• 3+ years of professional experience working with the public.
• 1+ year experience reading/interpreting Florida statutes.
• 1+ year experience analyzing complaints.
• Strong organizational and customer-service skills.
• Ability to meet the short-term project timeline.

Preferred

• Experience with Versa and OnBase.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Background in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Government, Legal/Paralegal, Investigations, or Complaint Resolution.
