Job Description Summary
The Compliance Section Manager Sr. - Digital & Privacy is a senior individual contributor providing second line advisory and execution support across Digital/Mobile Banking and privacy. This hands-on role delivers compliance analysis, risk assessments, and practical guidance in a fast-paced environment while partnering closely with business and risk stakeholders. The role requires working knowledge of digital and privacy regulations, the ability to independently execute complex work with limited oversight, and collaboration with subject matter experts on more complex issues. It reports to the Consumer Finance, Digital & Marketing Compliance Group Manager and partners closely with the Enterprise Privacy Compliance Officer.
Duties & Responsibilities
Compliance Advisory & Execution
Provide second line compliance advisory and execution support across:
Digital and Mobile Banking products, services, and customer experiences
Privacy-related activities, including data use and regulatory considerations
Independently execute detailed compliance risk assessments, advisory reviews, and analysis with minimal direction, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations
Apply working knowledge of privacy regulations, including CCPA, GLBA/Reg P, GDPR, and applicable state laws; partner with senior SMEs on more complex or emerging issues
Identify applicable compliance risks and help business partners understand impacts, including upstream, downstream, and cross-segment considerations
Review business controls, issues, and risk assessments; provide risk-based observations and actionable recommendations
Support regulatory change impact assessments and provide input on emerging risks and requirements
Assist business partners in meeting Compliance Management System (CMS) expectations (e.g., complaints, training, escalations)

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in financial services
5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or risk management with a focus on Digital and Privacy (must have expertise in digital and privacy regulations, including acts, and guidance including: ESIGN, FFIEC,GLBA, TCPA, FCRA, CCPA, GDPR Guidance on Authentication in an Internet Banking Environment, Social Media Guidance, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and Weblinking).
