  • Assist in the enforcement of Expeditors' Operational Process Standards, policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with CFRs relating to import and export shipments

  • Ensure compliance with Denied Party Screening, sanctions and embargoes

  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance policies and procedures

  • Stay current with changes in trade regulations and assess their impact on operations

  • Additional Duties include but not limited to:

  • Internal Reviews and Daily Monitoring

  • Maintaining up to date information with pertinent transportation publications

  • Post Entry writing reviews, reports, activities and trends

  • Prepare and hold training sessions for operational staff

  • Compliance comprehension and high ethical standards

  • 2 years or more of agent or operations experience within logistics or customs brokerage network.

  • Demonstrated understanding of applicable Customs Compliance laws and regulations

  • Ability to relate to clients, government officials and employees at all levels

  • Strong familiarity with, and continued pursuit of proficiency in Expeditors' operating systems, including GCI, CFIT, EDMS, ETMS, and, where applicable, third-party systems used to conduct Expeditors' transactions

  • DG certification(s)

  • Proven research, problem solving and follow-up skills

  • Customs Broker license (U.S.) or similar non-U.S. country license, where available (Preferred)

  • IATA/FIATA Cargo Certification (Preferred)
