Are you a bold, visionary leader ready to make a national impact? Richman Property Services, Inc. is looking for a driven, innovative, and growth-minded Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team in Tampa.
Position: Compliance Specialist (full-time)
Location: You will be supporting an assigned portfolio of affordable RPS properties across the country based out of our Tampa Support Center. The role is a hybrid position working 3-days in the office and 2-days remotely from your home. Monday through Friday work schedules, requiring flexibility during peak times. The hybrid work schedule will be discussed during the interview process in full.
Summary: As a Compliance Specialist, you manage and maintain the assigned affordable housing portfolio, including, but not limited to, tenant file reviews, preparing and managing audits (state, local, etc.), monitoring regulatory agreement requirements, and ensuring and updating utility allowances and rent/income limits as needed.

Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience:
Prefer at least 3 to 5 years of experience working in multi-family property management and extensive experience with LIHTC.
Knowledge of Yardi, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook!
Ability to operate various types of office equipment, such as computers, printers, copy machines, telephone systems, and facsimile machines.
Skills & Certifications:
HCCP, COS, or CPO certification preferred
Must have reliable automobile transportation and a valid Driver's License and Insurance
Self-starter, detail-oriented with professional communication, customer service, organizational, and analytical/problem-solving skills.
Proficient with multiple computer and software programs.
Able to accept supervision, speak clearly and calmly, and work towards a win-win resolution of issues. Participate in team meetings and/or training sessions. Have professional presentation skills.
Exhibit sound judgment, ability to prepare and/or analyze reports, ask appropriate questions, seek guidance, and communicate outstanding matters with direct supervisor. Able to prepare reports as requested.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.
