This internship provides hands-on exposure to corporate compliance practices, regulatory research, due diligence analytics, and audit support within a dynamic business environment.This is an excellent opportunity for students who enjoy research, analysis, and problem-solving while gaining valuable experience working alongside compliance and business professionals.What You'll DoAs a Due Diligence & Compliance Intern, you will support the Compliance and National Accounts teams by helping ensure business operations align with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDocumentation & Reporting
Maintain records of compliance reviews and due diligence activities.Update and organize standard operating procedures and compliance documentation.Prepare reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
Audit Support
Assist with internal and external audits.Gather, review, and organize supporting documentation.Help ensure audit materials are complete and accurate.
Policy Implementation
Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance policies.Help ensure company practices align with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
Research & Due Diligence
Conduct public record and media searches.Research companies, individuals, and business entities.Analyze background information and compile findings into actionable reports.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.Junior standing at the time of application.Minimum 3.0 GPA.Ability to work 40 hours per week at our Oak Brook, Illinois corporate headquarters.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
