Job Description:

Easterseals NH is happy to announce a new role for our Transportation program! The objective of the Compliance Supervisor is to ensure efficient and compliant transportation operations by supervising monitors, enforcing regulatory standards, and conducting ongoing audits to maintain organizational readiness and service quality.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in transportation, public administration, business, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in transportation operations, safety, or compliance
  •  Prior experience with DOT, FTA, FMCSA, BAAS, Medicaid requirements preferred
  • Experience with audits, compliance monitoring, or regulatory reporting preferred
  • Familiarity with contract management and service agreement oversight preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required endorsements or certifications for bus operation
  • Working knowledge of ADA requirements as they relate to transportation services
  • Strong administrative, organizational, documentation, communication, interpersonal, and attention to detail skills
  • Valid New Hampshire driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Essential Responsibilities: 

  •  Supervise all Monitors and ensure that they receive regular feedback on performance and receive annual written evaluations on time.
  • Collaborate with Operations & Safety Supervisor to ensure appropriate licensure, certifications, and required documentation are maintained. 
  • Oversee operations, billing, and fleet compliance with federal, state, DOT and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits related to safety, reporting accuracy, scheduling, and service delivery.
  • Maintain documentation and serve as key contact for inspections, audits, incident reports, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of trips, mileage, rider eligibility, and service authorization.
  • Review billing data for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness prior to submission with the Business Manager’s oversight.
  • Support staff understanding of regulatory expectations through training and communication.
  • Track deliverables, reporting requirements, and renewal timelines and recommend policy updates based on regulatory changes or audit findings.
  • Support oversight of transportation related contracts and service agreements, including monitoring vendor performance for compliance with contract terms, and coordinating contract documentation and compliance reporting with leadership.
  • Report to the Operations Manager and partner closely with the Operations and Safety Supervisor to coordinate operational oversight, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Transportation Department.
  • Participate in cross training to support continuity of operations and perform other related duties as assigned such as providing driving or monitoring relief during short staffing emergencies.
  • Provide transportation oversight and support for older adults, children, and individuals with all abilities, utilizing sensitivity, patience, and best practices for inclusive service delivery.
  • Work on Easter Seals committees and work groups representing transportation as assigned by Director or Operations Manager.

Compensation: $68,600 salary

Hours: Monday - Friday. Schedule alternating from week to week. Applicants must have flexibility to work between 5:30am - 2pm one week and 9am to 5:30pm the next.
