An iMPact Business Group client is seeking to hire a Compliance & Sustainability Manager (environmental). This role is with a highly successful manufacturing client in the precision manufactured components industry.

This role will focus on -  
  • Leading and supporting environmental compliance and sustainability efforts across regional operations while ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. 
  • Managing environmental programs, monitoring regulatory compliance related to air, water, waste, and chemical handling, and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance. 
  • Supports procurement-related compliance activities, including completion of customer forms and adherence to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), while advancing sustainability initiatives through data tracking, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Supports and advances environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives at the regional level. 
  • Improving environmental performance, ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations, and supporting sustainability goals through data tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
This organization is a Manufacturing firm and their primary Machines & Technologies utilized in the environment include:
  • CNC Machining & Turning 
  • Swiss Screw Machining
  • Precision Grinding
  • Specialty Machining & Thread Rolling
  • CNC Lathes (2-4 axis)
  • CNC Swiss Lathes 
  • CNC Lathe (5+ axis)


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in compliance, environmental, sustainability, regulatory affairs, manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with environmental compliance, reporting, sustainability initiatives
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and documentation processes
  • Working knowledge of environmental compliance areas such as waste, air, water, and chemical management
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret environmental and compliance data
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)  

  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, ESG concepts, or environmental reporting tools (preferred)
  • Exposure to environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, state-level requirements) (preferred)
  • Experience with ITAR, export controls, or government contracting (preferred)
  • Experience with ERP or environmental data systems (preferred)
