The Panther Group is seeking an experienced Components Engineer to support advanced engineering programs in Andover, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly detail-oriented engineer with experience in electrical/electronic components management, Windchill database administration, BOM maintenance, technical documentation, and obsolescence monitoring.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong configuration management and parts engineering experience who can support mission-critical hardware programs in a highly technical environment.
What You’ll Do
  • Create and maintain EEE (Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical) and EME parts within the Windchill database
  • Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support engineering and configuration accuracy
  • Support documentation engineering activities, including:
    • Drawings
    • Part changes
    • Technical documentation
    • Engineering coordination
  • Monitor component lifecycle and supply chain risks using tools such as SiliconExpert
  • Identify and address:
    • Obsolescence concerns
    • Supply chain disruptions
    • Part standardization opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams, customers, and stakeholders to support product lifecycle and part integrity
  • Help ensure compliance with technical, quality, and configuration requirements
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Electronics Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 5+ years of professional engineering experience
  • Strong experience with:
    • Windchill
    • EPDM / Product Data Management systems
    • BOM creation and maintenance
    • Technical documentation
    • Component lifecycle management
  • Experience with:
    • EEE / EME components
    • Obsolescence monitoring
    • Supply chain risk analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Missile program experience
  • Mil-spec or automotive-grade parts experience
  • SiliconExpert or similar obsolescence tools
  • Defense, aerospace, or high-reliability hardware environments
Pay up to $70.00 per hour DOE
