Components Painter

Olympia Chimney, Inc. has partnered with Hueman to find a full-time Components Painter 1 for their manufacturing department in Pittston, PA.

As a Components Painter, you will apply paint and protective coatings to various metal venting components while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This hands-on role involves preparing surfaces, operating paint spray guns, curing and inspecting finished products, and maintaining painting equipment.

Olympia Chimney is a leading designer and manufacturer of stainless steel chimney liners, venting systems for heating appliances, and other accessories for venting professionals and hearth retailers throughout the United States.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply paint to various metal venting products using paint spray guns.
• Prepare product surfaces by cleaning away oil, dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
• Adjust paint gun nozzles and monitor paint flow to achieve the proper spray coverage.
• Bake products to properly cure coatings and follow all required curing procedures.
• Inspect products before and after the curing process for flaws, bubbles, and other quality issues.
• Follow all safety guidelines and established painting procedures.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment at the end of each shift.
• Assist the packing area as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior painting experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain active throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to or sometimes over 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to paint fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme heat.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday. First shift: 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. No travel is required for this position.
