PAY RATE: $29.00/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.

• Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

• Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.

• Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.

• Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.

• Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.

• Reads and interprets blueprints and production orders.

• Operates various hand and power tools.

• Assembles metal structure components with precision.

• Applies Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools).

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 35 lbs.

• Preferred: 1+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Preferred: 3+ months experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.

• Preferred: Experience with managing or working to safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data.

• Preferred: Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools).

• Ability to work from established drawings and requirements.

• Ability to perform composite lay-up, fabrication, assembly, wire harness installation, and coating application.
