    COMPOSITE & FABRICATION SPECIALISTS
     
    Resonant Sciences is a world-class research and development firm located in Dayton, Ohio focused on developing and transitioning innovative technologies and solutions to developmental and operational platforms. Our areas of expertise include radome, antenna, and aerospace structures design and fabrication, custom electronic solutions, and inhouse RF measurements of materials, antennas, radomes, and subsystems.     POSITION OVERVIEW:
    We are seeking Fabrication Technicians with education and experience in aerospace, composites layup/repair.
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    • Work with structural, mechanical, and RF/electrical engineers to build, and test custom fixtures/assemblies
    • Work independently from design prints, drawings, documents, and verbal instructions
    • Analyze design risks, anticipate, and mitigate risks when possible, and report concerns to supervisor
    • Read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
    • Work with power tools, hand tools, paint equipment
    • Operate autoclaves, ovens, and other large equipment
    • Work with calipers, micrometers, scales, and other devices to verify conformance to design requirements
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
    • Perform tasks associated to composite manufacturing, such as: cutting, kitting, mold release application, vacuum bagging, grinding/sanding, repairs, and bonding
    • Able to adapt and function well in a dynamic work environment
    • Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • High school diploma with at least two years’ experience.
    • Must be eligible to obtain and/or maintain a Secret Clearance. Active clearance is preferred.
    • Must be a US Citizen.
