Job Summary

We are seeking a Composite Technician - Level I for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Poway, CA within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This hands-on role supports the fabrication, curing, build-up, and assembly of composite materials and aircraft components in a precision-driven production environment.

This is a strong opportunity for a mechanically inclined technician who enjoys detailed work, using tools, following technical instructions, and contributing to high-quality aerospace components. Key Responsibilities

- Assist with mold and form preparation, composite lay-up, vacuum bagging, and curing processes.
- Mark, cut, trim, drill, route, sand, and shape composite materials, adhesives, honeycomb, woven materials, and related components.
- Assemble aircraft components using adhesives, rivets, threaded fasteners, and standard manufacturing tools.
- Mix resins and catalysts, verify material expiration dates, and follow established process requirements.
- Prepare, sand, paint, and finish composite and metal components to required specifications.
- Maintain accurate records, follow safety procedures, and keep the work area clean, organized, and production-ready.

Compensation and Benefits

- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity.
- Location: Poway, CA.
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM at $21.64 per hour.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM at $22.64 per hour.
- Overtime may be required.
