Job Summary
We are hiring a Composite Technician - Poway for a direct hire, Level I opportunity supporting advanced composite fabrication, assembly, and repair work in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 to 2 years of hands-on manufacturing or assembly experience who enjoys precise, detail-focused work with composite materials, aerospace components, blueprints, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
As a Composite Technician Assembler, you will fabricate and assemble composite structures using materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, honeycomb, adhesives, and related materials. You will work under supervision while following engineering drawings, specifications, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair composite structures using carbon fiber, Kevlar, fiberglass, honeycomb, adhesives, and similar materials.
- Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, templates, guides, work instructions, and specifications to complete precise assembly work.
- Prepare bonding surfaces by sanding, cleaning, treating, trimming, drilling, routing, and fitting parts to required tolerances.
- Apply adhesives, sealants, bonding agents, and fasteners such as rivets, bolts, and screws while verifying placement, fit, and torque requirements.
- Use assembly jigs, fixtures, templates, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to maintain dimensional accuracy and repeatability.
- Perform basic inspections, record process steps, communicate deviations, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
