We are looking for a Composites Manufacturing Student to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in the field of composite materials within an advanced aerospace environment. Join a professional team that promotes innovation and hands-on learning in the world of advanced manufacturing.
In this role, you will:
- Assist manufacturing engineers in engineering activities for aerospace projects while being mentored by experienced team members
- Support the transfer of composite structure designs from development to prototype and series production
- Take part in defining and monitoring production processes and continuous improvement efforts
- Assist in defining production tools and tooling designs
- Write and update process documentation and work instructions
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and production interfaces
- Update production files and aerospace BOMs
Requirements:
- B.Sc. student in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- At least one academic year remaining
- Availability for 2-3 workdays per week (advantage for higher availability)
- Basic knowledge of production processes and familiarity with composite materials (advantage)
- Proficiency in CAD software (advantage for CATIA)
- Good level of English
- Team player, responsible, proactive, and eager to learn
- Option to combine an internship or academic project if relevant to the role
