Compounder
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Location: Somerset, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time, 6-Month Assignment
Schedule Options:
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Mid Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Physical Fit Test: Not Required
Position Overview
We are seeking a Compounder to join a manufacturing team in Somerset, NJ. In this role, you will support daily production operations by preparing and mixing batches according to established formulas while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or chemical compounding experience looking to grow their careers in manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities
- Retrieve batch recipe cards and prioritize production based on shipping schedules.
- Accurately measure and add raw materials to production batches.
- Operate dosing systems, dispensing stations, pumps, scales, and mixing equipment.
- Retrieve and add pre-mixed materials according to batch specifications.
- Monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Maintain production equipment and report any operational issues to supervisors.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling chemicals and raw materials.
- Assist with inventory control and material handling as needed.
- Lift and move materials, including drums weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift and warehouse experience.
- Working knowledge of inventory control systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chemical compounding experience.
- Experience operating mixing, batching, or dispensing equipment.
- Manufacturing or production experience in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or industrial environments.
