JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for preparation of bulk and raw materials for production. Prepares proper documentation for production process. Cleans and maintains compounding equipment and transfer lines according to GMP’s and SOP’s. Job duties are performed under the close supervision of advanced staff members. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accumulates and prepares raw material for compounding. Controls machines and follows the process to mix raw materials for product batches. Monitors the manufacturing process. Documents all required processing information in an accurate, clear and legible manner Works in conjunction with packaging personnel to transfer bulk product from the compounding area to the packaging line Assembles and disassembles transfer lines, trace lines, insulated jackets and pumps as required Cleans equipment and components to ensure all batches meet quality control standards and potential batch contamination is prevented. Documents all cleaning, purging, and clean-in-place activities in log book Transports raw materials to and from warehouse to compounding area Properly disposes of compounding waste, packaging and other bulk scrap Maintains a cGMP compliant and safe work area
