As a Compounding Technician, you will be responsible for:
Performing sterilization procedures and maintaining strict sterility in medication preparation areas to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
Accurately entering prescription orders into the pharmacy system and verifying patient information to ensure precise medication dispensing.
Filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Adhering to safety, health, and regulatory standards to maintain a compliant and clean work environment.
What Youll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
A valid Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy technician license.
PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
Prior experience in sterile compounding is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
