As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll support medication preparation and patient safety. Youll work closely with experienced pharmacy professionals in a state-of-the-art facility committed to innovation, safety, and excellence.
What Youll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing sterilization procedures and maintaining strict sterility in medication preparation areas to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
- Accurately entering prescription orders into the pharmacy system and verifying patient information to ensure precise medication dispensing.
- Filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Adhering to safety, health, and regulatory standards to maintain a compliant and clean work environment.
What Youll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A valid Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy technician license.
- PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
- Prior experience in sterile compounding is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of pharmacology is required
