About the Role: 
HealthWealth Pharmacy in Houston, TX is looking for a skilled Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and compound customized sterile medications according to physician prescriptions and established formulas
• Accurately measure, mix, and package compounded preparations including creams, capsules, solutions, and suspensions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant compounding environment following USP 795 and USP 797 guidelines
• Assist pharmacists with prescription verification, labeling, and quality control checks
• Manage inventory of compounding ingredients, supplies, and equipment
• Document compounding records and maintain accurate logs in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers

Requirements:
 

• Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license or registration required
• Prior compounding pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of USP 795, USP 797, and/or USP 800 guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and compounding equipment
• PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
