Job Description
The Flavor Compounding Technician accurately prepares, batches, and blends flavor and extract formulations according to approved formulas and production schedules in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures product quality, consistency, and compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards while working hands-on with mixing, blending, and compounding equipment.

Work Environment
This role operates in a manufacturing environment within a very small company of approximately 14 people, where employees are treated like family and enjoy a close-knit, supportive culture. The facility focuses on creating flavors, so the workspace includes strong scents and exposure to a variety of food ingredients and aromas. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50+ pounds, and working around production equipment such as mixers and blenders in areas with temperature variations and typical manufacturing noise. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices, with a strong focus on maintaining organized and hygienic work areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belcamp, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.50/hr.
