Compressor Service Technician

Compressed Air Technician Responsibilities:

Processing and completing work ordersInteracting with customers at their physical location on a daily basisOrdering equipment supplies, repair components, and general items for serviceReading and understanding electrical and wiring diagramsInstalling and repairing various manufactured brands of rotating equipment (air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers)Installing aluminum modular pipingObserving and testing newly installed systemsPlanned maintenance and troubleshooting of various manufactured brands of rotating equipment (air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers)Maintaining truck stock levels

Compressed Air Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentTwo to three years' minimum experience as a compressed air technicianAbility to troubleshoot electrical and wiring issuesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematicsAdvanced mechanical and diagnostic skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work outdoors in extreme weather conditionsPhysically fit and able to lift heavy equipmentClean driving recordTravel throughout the state of South Carolina
