Provide on-site Computational Modeling Data Analysis, and subject matter expertise in support to Maritime Expeditionary Warfare, Headquarters Marine Corps, Deputy Commandant for Combat Development & Integration, Marine Corps Combat Development Command, located at Quantico, VA.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Reporting and Dashboards:
Identify and extract essential information from web instances or Excel files.
Once identified, data must be shown effectively/efficiently through presentations, working papers, and various dashboard technologies to inform leaders.
Simulation modeling and analysis:
Apply quantitative data science techniques (statistics, mathematics, computer science, and physics) to analyze naval capability portfolio performance, cost and optimization, multi-objective decision-making, sensitivity analysis.
Risk Analysis:
Apply Qualitative, quantitative and decision risk analysis techniques for risk identification/evaluation, risk handling, risk monitoring and risk management.
Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis including:
Probabilistic Risk Assessment of platform performance, cost, and schedule.
Decision Risk Analysis includes applying risk and cost benefit techniques in decision making associated with significant risk or uncertainty.
Probability and statistical analysis:
Provide analytic process models, including various probability distributions (normal, binomial, Poisson, exponential, lognormal), probabilistic measures of system performance, data summaries (graphical and numerical), confidence intervals, hypothesis tests, regression analysis (single and multiple predictors), single-factor analysis of variance, and basic time-series analysis.

Location: The primary workplace will be the Marine Corps Combat Development Command, General Raymond G. Davis Center (Bldg. 3300), 3300 Russell Rd, Quantico, VA 22134.

Physical Demands:
Work Schedule: Full Time/40 hours per week. Mon-Fri/8 hours a day. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (0800 - 1600).

Security Clearance: Possess or be eligible to posses an active U.S. Secret level security clearance. As required, obtain a Secure Internet Protocol (SIPR) access token for access to government SIPR computers terminals.
Travel: Travel to other government and/or contractor facilities, and/or ships may be required. Travel may be required on weekends and could include CONUS and OCONUS locations. The exact dates and duration of travel will vary dependent upon location and requirements of individual events to include planning, attendance at meetings, conferences, and/or wargames.
