and influencing product direction based on deep workload understanding,

    market insights and competitive understanding.

    Job Descriptions

Drive workload analysis programs (e.g., for Agentic AI) to support silicon

product planning, articulating their impact and implications for system

architecture from a market and competitive perspective. This involves

understanding how future roadmap features or system capabilities,

particularly those enabled by next-gen hardware (e.g., advanced power

management, on-device LLMs running on xPU, new I/O features), can be

    leveraged for market advantage.

Lead market intelligence and competitive strategy for our compute platforms,

focusing on workload-driven differentiators and emerging industry trends

Lead Competitive Benchmarking Program Management partnering with

internal and external engineering labs to directly support product marketing

and sales teams in positioning our offerings against competitors.

Develop and maintain an "always-live" tech and IP marketing deck, serving as

a comprehensive and up-to-date resource for internal and external

communication of our technical value proposition and intellectual property

Proactively monitor the competitive landscape, including roadmaps, detailed

technology comparisons, and cost analyses, to identify market opportunities

    and potential threats.

Collaborate closely with internal hardware architects, SoC software teams,

and product teams to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling,

    market-facing narratives.

Interact with external partners (OS vendors, IP partners, OEMs) to gather

market insights, understand use-case requirements, and influence our

    technology strategic priorities.

Serve as the product level authority on competitive technology and market

trends within the compute platform space.

    Requirements

BS / MS / or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related

    technical field.

15+ years of experience in product marketing, technical product management,

competitive intelligence, or technology strategy roles within the client/compute

platform industry (e.g., Intel, AMD, Apple, Qualcomm, Nvidia).

Strong ability to engage in technical discussions with experts on areas such

as memory subsystems, interconnects, I/O subsystems (PCIe, USB,

display/graphics interfaces), and power/thermal constraints, and to

    understand their market implications.

Demonstrated experience in defining market requirements and

communicating technical value propositions for complex compute systems.

Capability to guide teams on competitive analysis, market sizing, and

    technology trend identification

Excellent cross-functional communication and presentation skills to influence

senior executive teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners on

    technology direction and strategy.

Openness and patience to work with geographically dispersed teams with

    diverse backgrounds.

Based in San Jose, with a willingness to support up to 25% international

    travel.

    Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience at a CPU or compute platform company (e.g., AMD,

Intel, Apple, Arm, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, etc.) in a senior product marketing,

competitive intelligence, or technical product management role.

Experience working with multiple OS ecosystems (e.g., Windows + Linux +

ChromeOS) from a market positioning perspective.

Experience mentoring or leading technology marketing or competitive

    intelligence teams

    Why Join Us

You’ll be at the forefront of shaping the market narrative and driving the

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role working at the intersection of

technology, market strategy, and business growth on bleeding-edge platforms.

You’ll influence product roadmaps and strategic direction by providing deep
