Job Description Summary

With a 15000 Sign-on bonus

The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician.

Other duties as deemed necessary.

Job Description

Utilize all CT resources to perform high-quality CT examinations on the entire patient population, neonate through geriatrics, for interpretation by a physician.

Additional Job Description

Education Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.

Work Experience 0-2 years of modality-specific experience.

Registration Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). ARRT CT Registration required within 1 year in position.

Licensure From the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA recognized equivalent, or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
