Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation. \n \nInova PRN Benefits and Perks:\n\n State-of-the-art medical and training facilities \n Retirement benefits with match from day one\n Free Parking to all employees\n Exclusive savings opportunities to in-store events, theme parks, discounts, movie tickets and local offerings and so much more!\n \nCT Technologist (CT Tech) Job Responsibilities:\n\n Demonstrates a thorough understanding of IVs, heparin locks and central line usage as they pertain to computed tomography, as evidenced by observations by supervisors and peers.\n Completes ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.\n Correctly identifies patients and their files by ensuring a high degree of accuracy, as evidenced by the lack of mislabeled films, images and EMR charts.\n Tracks patients according to department procedures. Identifies errors and takes immediate action for corrections, as evidenced by the EMR and PACS systems as well as the Radiology Information Systems reports.\n Participates in department/hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services and meetings, as evidenced by attendance records\n \nMinimum Qualifications: \n\n Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.\n License: Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist. Must obtain CT Certification one year upon acceptance of the offer.\n Certification: Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association\n Experience: Prior experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and/or Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred. \n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n CT Tech experience \n\n
